  • 1 x 45-minute coaching call
  • Ongoing support via message or voice note between calls

get to know your coach

I’ve spent my life chasing flow-state; in the surf, on the trails, in the mountains and in the lab. What started as a love for action sports has grown into a relentless pursuit of understanding how the human body performs under the unique demands of high performance. With a Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD in Exercise Science, I’ve dedicated my career to bridging the gap between sports science research and real-world performance.

My coaching Philosophy

I believe results are earned by consistently nailing the basics. My coaching philosophy sits where research rigour meets real-world constraints; simple systems, executed well, over time.

I blend three lenses in every plan I build.

  • Research lens: I integrate the latest, cutting edge research/evidence into practical steps you can directly apply to improve health, performance and recovery
  • High-performance lens: years inside elite programs taught me to prioritise the few behaviours that actually move the needle; smart fuelling, recovery protocols, appropriate load, and skill under pressure.
  • Athlete lens: as a surfer, snowboarder, ultramarathon runner and Ironman athlete, I’ve personally felt the bonks, the cold, the nerves and the comp-day chaos. That lived experience brings empathy and realism to the plan.

At the heart of it all is clarity over complexity. Most athletes don’t need more hacks; they need fewer, better habits that fit their season, terrain, travel and life. Training and fuelling should be representative of what you face when it counts, and progress should be iterative measure, adjust, keep what works.

What this means for you is straightforward: a clean, evidence-based blueprint shaped by real high-performance practice and tested in the same conditions you compete in. The result is more consistent energy, faster bounce-back, and sharper execution when it matters.
