1. The coaching service
Full Performance Coaching is an ongoing endurance-performance coaching service delivered by Dr Ricky Dann. Depending on the athlete and goal, the service may include endurance programming, strength & conditioning programming, general sports-fuelling guidance, race strategy, consultation, training feedback, review of athlete-reported data and use of the Vector athlete platform. The athlete’s live training schedule is held in Vector. The Performance Plan explains the current coaching direction but does not replace the live program.
2. What the service is not
- Medical diagnosis, medical treatment or emergency care.
- Physiotherapy or rehabilitation unless separately provided by an appropriately qualified practitioner.
- Individual clinical dietetic care where a medical condition or clinical nutrition issue requires an Accredited Practising Dietitian or other appropriate clinician.
- A guarantee of race results, injury prevention or uninterrupted training.
3. Athlete responsibilities
- Provide accurate health, injury, medication and training information.
- Report material changes promptly.
- Follow the intent of sessions and discuss substantial changes.
- Stop training when continuing may be unsafe and seek appropriate medical care when required.
- Provide honest feedback and complete agreed check-ins.
4. Fees, billing and cancellation
$79 AUD per week, billed weekly, with a minimum 8-week commitment. After the initial 8 weeks, you may cancel at any time before the next weekly renewal. Coaching may also be concluded by Dr Ricky Dann at a mutually agreed end point, such as an agreed date or your target event/race day. Coaching access continues through any period already paid for unless otherwise agreed. Fees already processed are generally not refunded for a coaching week that has commenced, except where required by Australian Consumer Law or agreed in writing. Pauses must be agreed with Ricky.
5. Onboarding and delivery
After the intake and initial consultation are complete, the initial Performance Plan and first training block are targeted for delivery within five business days, provided the information required to program safely is available.
6. Program changes and communication
Training is adjusted when performance response, fatigue, pain/injury status, availability, race demands or other meaningful information justifies a change. Routine coaching questions should use the agreed Vector/in-app channel. Coaching communication is not an emergency service.
7. Exercise risk and safety
Endurance and strength training involve inherent risks including fatigue, musculoskeletal injury, falls, heat/cold stress and acute medical events. Programming is designed to manage—not eliminate—risk. Ricky may recommend medical or allied-health clearance before progressing training.
8. Data, connected platforms and AI-assisted administration
Coaching may use third-party platforms such as Vector, Strava, Google Meet and secure productivity/AI tools to organise athlete information, transcribe or summarise consultations, draft coaching documentation and support analysis. AI-assisted outputs are drafts; final coaching decisions are reviewed by Dr Ricky Dann.
9. Recording / transcription
You can choose below whether coaching consultations may be recorded/transcribed for coaching notes and administration. You can withdraw consent for future recordings/transcriptions.
10. Intellectual property
Programs, templates and coaching resources are for the athlete’s personal use and should not be sold, published or redistributed as a coaching product without permission.
11. Ending coaching
After the minimum 8-week commitment, either party may end the coaching relationship in line with the cancellation terms above. Coaching may also end at a mutually agreed date or target event/race day. Ricky may suspend or end coaching earlier where information needed for safe programming is withheld, communication becomes inappropriate, payment is not maintained, or the service is no longer suitable.
